Men's Retreat
March 5-6, 2010 - Imago Dei Village
Join us for a weekend of renewal and fellowship! Pastor Al Moen of Good
Shepherd in Plover will be taking us through the book,
I Sold My Soul on eBay by Hemant Mehta, an atheist who “hired out” to go to churches to critique them.
Hemant wrote about each church he was assigned to attend, telling what his
experience was as he came through the doors, went to worship, and went back out
again. Would he be interested in coming back or was it a total turn off? The
book is a helpful read for us to come to grips with discussing what an
unchurched person or a young couple looking for a new church home might be
thinking when they worship at our church for the first time. We will also take a
look at one of the ministries the Hemant liked: Rob Bell at Mars Hill.
