There are many ways in which
you can be a partner with us in ministry. With an annual
budget of a million dollars, your camps of Crossways are
continually seeking ways of serving her congregations with
needed programs and services.
You may not be aware:
- Summer fees cover only
75% of the actual cost of a week at camp for kids and
families
Crossways employs 10 full time staff and 90 summer camp
counselors and support staff.
- We serve over 2500 youth
in summer camp programs, another 1000 youth in summer Day
Camp programs in congregations and yet another 250 families
in summer family and adult ministries
- Crossways owns and
manages over 444 acres of land on three sites including
maintaining and caring for over 70 buildings and retreat
facilities
- Retreat and conference
programs serve over 10,000 people annually
including youth and adult groups from colleges,
congregations, and civic organizations
- We NEVER turn away a
child or family in our sponsored programs because of
financial hardship or home situation.
Summer Camp fees cover less
than 75% of the cost to have a child attend camp. The balance is
covered through gifts and donations from churches,
organizations, and individuals. The best way to keep summer camp
fees low is to increase annual giving. Your gifts are
important to this ministry!

Dollar for Dollar match through the
Community Foundation of the Fox Valley
Donations need to be
given ON December 18th, between 7
a.m. and 7 p.m to be eligible for
the match. They can be given
online, by phone (920-830-1290) or
in person at five different
locations in Appleton, Chilton,
Shawano, Clintonville, or Waupaca.

GivingPLUS
Program with Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans
Gifts that you contribute to
Crossways Camping Ministries can be
supplemented by Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans. Thrivent will contribute 50
cents for every dollar that a member
donates to an eligible organization such
as Crossways Camping Ministries, up to
$600 per member. Click for more details.

Bring the whole family to Pine Lake
Camp for a FREE day of fun! Crossways
Camping Ministries is hosting a Family
Fun Day and Quilt/Craft Auction on
August 23, 2008! Highlights of the
day include a 5K Trail Run/Walk, Kid's
Trail Trot, Craft & Quilt viewing, and a
variety of food for all to enjoy!
